Job Overview
Yolanda Violetta Comar is seeking a dependable and compassionate Live-in Caregiver to provide daily support in a private home setting in Toronto, Ontario. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, respectful, and committed to dignity-first care for an elderly client and/or a person with a disability. You will assist with personal hygiene, bedside care, feeding support, meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping while providing companionship and maintaining a safe, comfortable home environment. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis, supporting stable, consistent care and flexible coverage. Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience in caregiving, home support, personal care, or similar work
On-the-job orientation may be provided for household routines and client preferences

Work in employer’s/client’s home

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

Administer bedside and personal care while maintaining privacy, dignity, and comfort
Assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, including grooming and dressing support
Feed or assist in feeding and ensure meals are provided safely and respectfully
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to preferences and any dietary guidance provided
Provide companionship, supportive conversation, and emotional reassurance
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe, tidy, and comfortable home environment
Launder clothing and household linens; fold, store, and keep items organized
Observe and report changes in routine, appetite, mobility, mood, or overall well-being to the employer promptly
Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries in a private home setting
