Job Overview
ZHOU FAMILY HOME CARE is seeking a compassionate and dependable Live-in Caregiver to provide day-to-day support for a client with disabilities in a private home setting in Milton, Ontario. This role is ideal for a calm, patient caregiver who can deliver consistent personal care, assist with hygiene and mobility, support meal preparation, and help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment. You will also support medication routines as directed, assist with feeding, and perform light housekeeping and laundry. If you are reliable, respectful of privacy, and committed to dignity-centered care, this is an excellent opportunity for stable full-time employment with overtime availability and LMIA support for eligible international candidates.

Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Or equivalent experience

Experience

Experience is an asset (caregiving, home support, disability support, PSW/HCA-related work)
Training/orientation may be provided for household routines and client-specific care preferences

Work in employer’s/client’s home
Live-in caregiving role (accommodation arrangements are part of the position)

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

Administer bedside and personal care while maintaining dignity, privacy, and comfort
Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other aspects of personal hygiene
Provide personal care support throughout evenings, nights, and weekends as required
Administer medications as directed by the family/client plan and established routines
Change non-sterile dressings as instructed and within the scope of the role
Feed or assist in feeding and monitor for comfort and safety during meals
Assist in regular exercise such as walking and gentle movement, based on ability and care guidance
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and follow any dietary instructions provided by the family
Launder clothing and household linens; fold, store, and keep supplies organized
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe, tidy, hazard-free environment
Provide companionship and supportive conversation to promote emotional well-being
Observe and report changes in the client’s condition, mood, appetite, sleep, or routine to the family promptly
Maintain respectful boundaries, confidentiality, and professionalism in a private home environment

Ability to follow safe care practices, hygiene routines, and household safety rules

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of daily care routines
Physically demanding work that may include assisting with mobility and repositioning
Ability to stay alert and attentive during evening/night hours
Ability to manage tasks independently and respond appropriately in urgent situations
