Birchmount Lodge is seeking a dedicated Nurse Aide to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to nurses and healthcare professionals, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care. This role requires compassion, patience, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment.
• Perform duties related to patient care and comfort.
• Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Make beds and maintain cleanliness in patients’ rooms.
• Supervise and assist patients with exercise routines.
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to nurses.
• Assist in feeding patients and ensuring proper nutrition.
• Support patients with mobility and transportation within the facility.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.

Requirements:

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
