Job Overview
Salisbury Holdings Ltd is hiring a Farm Worker (Grain) to support day-to-day crop production in a rural area near Sturgis, Saskatchewan. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on farming experience who can work safely around machinery, follow crop schedules, and take pride in reliable, consistent work. You will assist with planting, cultivation, irrigation, fertilizing and spraying, equipment operation and maintenance, and general farm duties while ensuring farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Experience

• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant grain/crop farming experience (planting, spraying, irrigation, equipment operation, or general farm work)

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops according to farm schedules and field conditions
• Fertilize and spray crops following instructions, timing requirements, and safe handling procedures
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment as assigned, including routine checks and basic upkeep
• Perform general farm duties such as field prep, yard upkeep, cleanup, and assisting with seasonal tasks
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times, including safe equipment use and proper handling of crop inputs
• Report equipment issues, field concerns, or safety hazards promptly to the supervisor

• Outdoor work in changing weather conditions and time-sensitive seasonal periods
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain steady productivity, and work safely around machinery
