Lynne Barisoff is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker – Social Services to provide essential assistance to clients in a private residence. This role is LMIA-approved, making it an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates, including those requiring visa sponsorship. The ideal candidate will support clients in their daily lives, ensure their well-being, and facilitate their integration into social activities.
Responsibilities
- Appraise clients’ needs or eligibility for specific services
- Assess clients’ skill strengths and development needs
- Perform housekeeping activities
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
Requirements
- Languages: English
- Education: College, CEGEP, or non-university diploma (1-2 years)
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in a related role
- Work Setting: Private residence
- Supervision: No supervision responsibility
