Job Overview
Manoj K. Talwar is seeking a compassionate and dependable Family Caregiver to provide home support in a non-smoking private residence in Petersburg, Ontario. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, organized, and committed to respectful, dignity-first care for adults and young adults, including females and persons with a disability. You will support personal care, meal preparation and cooking, housekeeping, laundry, shopping for household supplies, and basic pet care as part of the daily routine. This position is in a rural/remote location with staff accommodation provided, room and board included, optional live-in accommodation at no charge, and relocation costs covered by the employer for candidates willing to relocate. Training is paid by the employer, and additional benefits include paid time off and travel insurance.

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Or equivalent experience

Experience

• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant caregiving, home support, or household assistance experience
• On-the-job training provided (learning/training paid by employer)

Key Responsibilities (Tasks)

• Provide personal care support with respect for privacy, dignity, and comfort
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks; cook according to preferences and any dietary guidance provided
• Shop for food and household supplies and help maintain basic household stock levels
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe, tidy, and comfortable home environment
• Launder clothing and household linens; fold, store, and keep items organized
• Care for pets as part of the household routine (feeding, basic supervision, and related tasks as directed)
• Observe and report changes in routine, comfort, appetite, or general well-being to the employer promptly
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries in a private home setting

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking; regular walking as part of daily tasks
