Shift: Morning, Night, Overnight
Wage: CA $18 / hour to start

Upper Canada Growers Ltd. has an immediate opening for an experienced 11 Farm Supervisors (NOC : 82030) at our location in Harrow, Ontario.

As a Farm Supervisor (NOC : 82030 ), you will perform some or all of the following duties :

• Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and equipment operators
• Supervise a wide range of farm operations including planting, cultivating, irrigating, fertilizing, and harvesting.
• Ensure deadlines are met for activities such as seeding and harvesting
• Discuss with managers to coordinate activities
• Make work schedules and establish procedures, train employees on worksite.
• Suggests improvements and changes for farm operations.
• Inspect farm buildings and equipment, ensuring routine maintenance is carried out and repairs are made when necessary
• Ensure all health and farm safety procedures are being followed by the workers.
• Maintain quality control and production records.
• Perform general farm duties.

Qualifications :

• High school education is preffered; a college certificate or other specialized training in agriculture will be an asset.
  1 to 2 years of experience in a relevant field is required.
• Terms of employment : Permanent, Full time (40 hours / week)

Compensation : CA $18 / hour to start
